Hi. I am an aerospace engineer whose graduate and post-graduate research work was on pulsed detonation engines (PDE). My last engine (ground demonstrator) was designed to run on liquid kerosene and featured a single detonation chamber with dual rotary valve systems.

The picture bar on top shows a 4 in i.d. propane/air+oxygen powered PDE ground demonstrator. Propulsion is one of my main research interests. In thrust we trust. This blog is a collection of articles on new and cutting edge technologies related to energy and propulsion.
