Upcoming AIAA conference and PDE short course

The 46th AIAA/ASME/SAE/ASEE Joint Propulsion Conference and Exhibit is scheduled to take place in Nashville, TN at the Nashville Convention Center & Renaissance Hotel from 25th to 28th of July 2010, Sunday through Wednesday. More information here.

Following the conference, there will be a short course entitled Air Breathing Pulse Detonation Engine Technology, on 29th and 30th of July, 2010, at the same location. The instructors are Dora Musielak (my former Thermo professor), Dan Paxson, Fred Schauer (AFRL, first PDE powered flight pioneer), Gary Lidstone, K. Kailasanath (veteran PDE researcher), Razi Nalim, Tom Kaemming and Venkat Tangirala (GE-PDE). More information is available here.

UPDATE: Dr. Musielak stated that there is a lot of interest in the short course. There are people from Japan, Korea, Brazil, Canada and several other countries enrolled in the course.
